Is Low BP With Fatigue While On Avapro A Cause For Concern?

i am taking Avapro for high blood pressure. it works very well. I have regulare checkups and my reading at the doctors is always excellent. over the last 2 weeks I have several times felt rather strange and lethargic. I chose to take my blood pressure and some of the readings have been, 120, 113, and today 106. The symtoms only last a short time at the most about an hour, then go and blood pressure returns to normal.

1. Since you are taking anti hypertension medicine,it may be excess dose or postural hypotension,if your cardiologist thinks of this reason then he might adjust the dose or will use a different drug.

2. If this is not promptly controlled, ome should.go for Hb%,X-ray Cervical spine, Neurologist opinion and Eye and ENT check up.

3. Till then:
i. Bed rest. Avoid movement of the head
ii. Stop smoking and alcohol
iii. Examine and Investigate thoroughly for common causes: blood sugar, thyroid test
