Is Low BP With Lightheadedness And Dizziness A Cause Of Concern?

I have been experiencing light-headedness, and dizziness quite frequently lately so today I decided to check my blood pressure and it was 88/62. My blood pressure is always a little on the low side but never under 90. Is this cause for concern and is medication needed?

Understanding your concern. As per your query you are wondering if low BP with lightheadedness and dizziness a cause of concern . yes low Blood pressure can cause symptoms like dizziness, headache, fatigue, loss of consciousness etc. Well there can be many reasons for symptoms you mention in query asthma , middle ear infection , labyrinthitis , hypotension or heart rhythm disorder. I would suggest ou to consult cardiologist for proper diagnosis and to rule out more serious condition first . Doctor may order ECG , TMT along with complete blood profile and check vitals. and treat accordingly . Doctor may prescribed betablockers , frusamide and aspirin . Doctor may also refer you to ENT specialist for ear problem or chest specialist for chest problem .
