Is Low Energy And Loss Of Enthusiasm In Life A Symptom Of Depression?

Hello, I think I m depressed but I m not really sure if I am. I recently have no energy, I don t get excited for anything, my sex drive is low if not there at all. I always feel like I m not good enough, and cant seem to get happy, no matter what the situation is. Is this depression ? and how do I fix it ?al

I went through your details. You should be able to distinguish the difference between depression and disappointment. Disappointment also brings on symptoms as in the case of depression. But these symptoms are short lived and can be cleared with motivation. Depression is a neuro-chemical disorder and is more chronic in nature. The given symptoms do warrant an assessment to diagnose the problem. Were you deeply disappointed or stressed in the current past?

Were you disappointed in the near past? Loss of enthusiasm and low energy could be due to the present stress too. Consult a psychologist first to assess the situation.
