Is Lower Back Pain A Symptom Of Cancer After Treatment For NHLs?
January 2016 -I am 42 years of age and 6ft 4 tall. I have very low back pain (buttock and leg area). I have recently undergone treatment for Non Hodgkins lymphoma (ended December 2014) and have been free of the disease for just over 12 months. My last blood test and general check up was January 7th and everything was okay. Before my Cancer I had the same back problem, which disappeared during my treatment and 9 months away from work (as a gardener) - April - Dec 2014. Could this just be related to the job I do or should I have it investigated further And if so How. I have a family friend who is a Chiropractor and he said what he was trying (2014) wasn t working. Paracetamol, Ibuprofen don t seem to help.Any Suggestions please?
Though analgesic as paracetamol and ibuprofen will help for partial symptomatic relief, with the history of treatment of Non Hodgkin Lymphoma one year back, I would suspect bone mets possibility most likely. Kindly take an X-ray report of lower lumbar spine with your doctor for best further guidelines of management.
Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
