Is Lumbar Surgery Advisable For A Person With High BMI?

I am waiting for lumbar surgery for spinal stenosis plus herniated disc. Have loss of control over bowel, bladder functions plus weakness in legs and pain. As I am overweight (like 274 lbs) would you consider surgery for someone like me? or is it too dangerous with all that weight and flab. I am woman, 66 yrs old. Thank you very much.
