Is Lumpy, Growing, Painful Mole With Whitehead, Oozing Puss Concerning?

I have a mole I have had it for years it s never been flat but a bit lumpy couple of days ago I noticed it s bigger then normal and painful and I noticed a white head on it so I squeezed it and puss came out and still quite inflamed should I be worried

I have read your query and understood your concern.

It seems you have got bacterial infection over the mole.

I usually advice my such patients to apply topical antibiotics like mupirocin 2 percent cream twice daily over the lesion.

you may also require oral antibiotics like macrolides/ cephalosporins if not responding to topical medications.
