Is Medical Treatment Necessary For Endometriosis & PCOS?

I am 52. I ve been ovulating 1-2 times monthly for 5 months without a period or spotting. I have a history of endometriosis & polycystic ovary disease. Should I see my GYN? I saw her 6 months ago & was having right abdominal pain & irregular periods--ie. every 6 to 12 weeks with occasional spotting. She thought the pain was endometriosis... I also have Gartner s duct cyst.

OBGYN, Maternal and Fetal Medicine 's  Response
Hi, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. Irregular bleeding and delayed periods are likely due to polycystic ovarian disease.
I would suggest you to consult your OBGYN specialist so that you can be properly examined and investigations like hormonal Profile and ultrasound can be done to confirm the cause.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Wishing you good health.
