Is Medication And Diet Control Enough To Overcome LBBB With 70% Blockage In Main Artery?

I was recently diagnosed with LBBB and had 70 percent blockage in the main artery??? EF was 35 initially and 40 on the day of the angiogram. I was prescribed medicine and to diet and exercise. Would you recommend a second opinion, or does this sound reasonable.

Dear sir/madam , you have blockage in artery and decreased heart function. Ideally we have to assess whether the heart function is reduced secondary to blockage. That can be assessed by myocardial perfusion scan. If in this test there is viable myocardium ( viable heart muscle ) , then treating the blockage ( in the form of angioplasty/ bypass surgery )will help in improving heart function. But if heart muscles are already damaged then treating blockage won't be useful. Only u have to be on medicines, salt and fluid restriction. If u are suffering from recurrent heart failures or refractory heart failure then there are heart failure devices ( CRT) to improve heart function. Hope u find this informative.
