Is Menthol Cream Effective For Right-sided Abdominal Pain Due To Ovarian Cysts?

I have endometriosis, and history of ovarian cysts. 44yrs old. This is unusual for even me. Menstrual cycle started three weeks ago. Constant, sometimes severe pain on right side by ovary. I have had many cysts rupture in the past, pain is somewhat different. Area is warm, at times can feel a lump. Difficulty walking at times. Constant pain. Advil, Tylenol, etc have no effect. This is a CRAZY question, but what about applying a small amount of topical menthol. Also, heat nor ice packs have been helping.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
First of all you require proper diagnosis of your problem.
Consult Gynaec and get examined and investigated like ultra sound etc.
Menthol cream is counter irritant and might give temporary relief from pain.
You can apply ice or hot sponge to get symptomatic relief.
Ok and take care.
