Is Mild Baby Movements During Pregnancy Normal?

Hello Doctor,i am 29 years old ,5.3 height..currently im in 8th month of pregnancy..i usually used to find my babys movement in my left sidew..and from the last two days the movements are very mild..is that normal..during 30th week i had scanning and my baby weighs 1.4 kg..is that also normal..pls answer my questions

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion the weight of 1.4 kg at 30 weeks might be normal.In order to say if you have decreased movements or not you might need to count the movements for 12 hours span.They should be atleast 10 in 12 hours period.If you have them then it is normal.If it os less than 10 then you might need consultation with your doctor to rule out any less liquor.Drink adequate fluids upto 2-3 litres.Rest in left lateral position preferrably.
