Is Missed Period Sign Of Pregnancy?

hello..!! i m 24years old, weigh 53kg, my periods were very regular since last month, but from last month am not getting my periods properly and i indulged in sex 2times i consulted the doctor regarding the same and the doc adviced me to go for preg test and it was negative and now she has prescibed me to take MEPRATE for 5 days. now my doubt is will i get my periods if so when? and one more doubt is that is thr any chances tht i am conceived now..? kindly plz answer ASAP

Hi,
If you have never had any delay in cycles so far, and if you had unprotected intercourse during your fertile period, your chances of conception are high. If pregnant, you will not get an induced period with hormones. If negative for pregnancy, a period may be induced 3-7 days after completion of hormone treatment. Please wait for your period since you have already had the medication and se your consultant if you do not see it even after ten days. A trans-vaginal sonogram is always helpful. Hope this helps.
