Hello Doctor i have vitiligo for 18 years. 4 years ago I took narrowband therapy which was very effective but after 3-4 months it became irregular and finally discontinued. Now i have started it again with some medicine 1) Omnacortil 20 mg (two tablets for two days in a week) 2) Mometasone Foroate cream IP Is this combination helpful in treating vitiligo....... General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

Usuing Omnacortil and Mometasone cream is the combination of choice to treat vitiligo. Although I have used to my patients, some of them needed to change to alternative therapy.

This combination works better at early stages of vitiligo; while, yours has been there for 18 years.

However, I suggest to keep following up with your dermatologist to find out together the right treatment choice for you.

All the best!
