Currently being treated for Stage III Melanoma with 12 months of Interferon 2B. I'm 39 and never had my cholesterol checked and had my doctor put me in for labs. My results came back with LDH-189, Cholesterol-127, Triglyceride-197, HDL-32.9, LDL-54.7 and Chol/HDL ratio of 3.9. Good or Bad?
According to reports your triglyceride level is borderline high.Ideally it should be below 150 mg /dl. It can be managed by diet and life style changes. You should increase your physical activity and avoid fried and fatty food. You also need regular follow up.
LDH level is normal. Its normal range is 105 - 333 IU/L. Cholesterol level is also within normal limit.Ideally it should be below 200 mg/dl. LDL and HDL level are also within normal limit.
