Is My Non-reactive HIV Antibody Test At 90 Days Conclusive Despite Taking Prednisolone?

Hi doc on 20th august i had unprotected oral sex with a gay person. I didnt have any sores in mouth during exposure. On 12th november doc gave me 12 prednisolone tablets for my allergy. And i took hiv antibody test on 21st november. (90+days after exposure). Result came non reactive. Is this conclusive? Pls tell. I m anxious.

Hi,

Though low dose steroid may have some effect on the antibodies against HIV, still, the effect on the result is minimal and you may take this result on 90 day as conclusive.
