Hi Ms. Sara,
If the cause of your previous miscarriage is not a recurrent one, you have every chance of a healthy pregnancy this time. The hormones that your doctor has prescribed are as a precaution to counter possible hormonal imbalances. Fetal pole is usually detected after four weeks and a repeat sonogram, preferably trans-vaginal, after another week should be able to detect everything. Please follow your doctor's instructions, avoid all forms of stress including intercourse and especially anxiety, as maternal anxiety has adverse effects on the baby's health. Wish you good health.
