Is Nasal Cauterization And Sore Throat And Cough Related?

I had a nasal cauterization and within several days I had burning sore throat on the soft palette,dry hacking cough and running nose.Is there a correlation between the procedure and what I am experiencing?I also do not get colds with any frequency.

Hello

No, it is not co related and represents two different processes. Your dry cough and running nose may be due to a viral infection/common cold and it is not likely to be due to the cauterization. Please dont worry , you will be fine.
