Is Nausea Is A Symptom Of Anemia?

Yes, I m recovering from hip replacement surgery (4/29/14). I have noticed I seem to be more tired than usual. My doctor thought I looked pale and Yesterday I had blood taken and am waiting for the results. Since my surgery I also have less of appetite ( but I make sure to eat, I have lost 6 lbs. I need to lose weight any way.) I also experience slight nausea off and on and I wonder if that is a symptom of anemia. Before surgery I went back into Afib which I had some years ago but had an ablation which lasted several years. I will be having a cardio version in a few weeks. Most of all I wonder if nausea is a symptom of anemia.

No,nausea is not typical sign of anemia and signs are usually paleness, fatigue, dizziness and weight loss. You should check your stomach and bowel function to see the cause for nausea.

I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time.
Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
