Is Nausea Normal After Taking Depo Shots?

Hello, I have not taken the depo shot in two years. I just got the first shot approx seven days ago and I have been nauceous the past four days at night time. I have been on and off of the depo shot for six years. (two years on and two years off) I never used to get sick like this. Is this normal?
