Is Navidoxine A Good Replacement For Diclectin?

my daughter is pregnant in her 11th months she had nausea all the time she took declectin and she was feeling better she find the medecin any more in Ghana can she take navidoxin instead? and is it the same like declectin ? is it safe to take it for long time in pregancy?thak you for answering my questions.

Some amount of nausea and vomiting are common in early pregnancy.
Delectin contains pyridoxine and doxylamine.
Navidoxine contains meclozine and pyridoxine.
Both the drugs can be used in pregnancy.
Navidoxine belongs to category B drugs in pregnancy.
Means animal studies have not shown adverse effects on fetus but sufficient human studies are lacking.
In clinical practice this drug is prescribed usually.
So, she can take the drug with your doctor's advice.
Regular antenatal checkups and ultrasound examinations are advised.
