Is No Spotting Or Mucous Blood Normal In An Pregnancy?
I HAD A MISCARRIAGE IN THE MONTH OF MARCH 204 , WENT FOR A PREGANCY TEST LAST WEEK WHICH TURNED POSITIVE , BUT AFTER SCAN THE SONOGRAPHER SAYS SHE THINKS I WAS NOT CLEANED UP WELL SINCE THE LAST MISCARIAGE , SINCE I AM NOT HAVING MUCOUS BLOOD LIKE SPOTTING , NOW FOR 4 DAYS .
Hello, I have gone through your query and understood the concern. Pregnancy test can remain positive for up to three weeks after an abortion or a delivery since the pregnancy hormones take some time to achieve non-pregnant status. If you had products retained after the abortion, you could have symptoms like pain, spotting etc., which you did not have. A trans-vaginal sonogram performed by an experienced sonographer should detect retained products. In the current scenario, another pregnancy also is a possibility if sufficient time elapsed after the abortion. Hope this helps.
