Is Nodule Surgery Advisable For Raspy Voice?

So I have been involved in music for quite awhile and and withen the last year i have noticed that things as basic as do ray mi to warm up my voice is difficult. you can feel the switch in your voice however the sound that escapes is smothered and raspy, which to me hints to a very potential vocal node. how much would a nodule surgery cost ?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Have you examined your vocal cord by laryngoscopy? How can you know that it is nodule? may possible vocal cord thickening or acid erosion or TB erosion etc. Please consult your ENT specialist he will do indirect laryngoscopy and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
