Is Non-response To Their Name By A Child And Frequent Hunger Leading To Colic A Cause For Concern?

Good evening doctor. My male child is 3yrs old , he doesn t respond his name or ask for food or milk when he feels hungry. He starts to cry. Some times he shuts his ears with both hands as if he is scared. He identifies the English letters. Sir plz help. Thanks.
