Is Novelon Effective For Preponding Periods?

My Gf had periods on 9th of this month. she wants to have early periods around 30th of this month for sure. She was prescribed 'Novelon'. will it be effective..?? after that she wont take meds..so does her menstrual cycle will be normal from next month..?
