Is Numb Lip After Bug Bite Normal?

I was bit just below the left side of my lip by a bug yesterday, did not actually see it, just felt something on my chin. Later I noticed it was about the size of a dime and had a very large hole (sting mark). When I awake this morning my lower lip was swollen, lower part of my cheek and half my chin. I also noticed it feels a little numb. I have taken some oral antihistamine and topical Lavender essential oil (numerous times). A better part of the day, I have noticed some yellow fluid draining from the bit mark. Swollen has subsided, numbness is still there. Should I see a healthcare provider or just let nature takes it course? Thanks.

usually it will subsides after a day or so. in your case it is going to subsides in due coarse of time. one thing you have to add in to your drug is that start low dose steroid under doctors consultation. because all of the swelling and reaction is because of the allergic reaction. if the steroid is given it will subsides all of your symptoms pretty fast.
