I am a 47 year old woman. About 3 years ago, I had numbness appear from the waist down. It started in my feet and ascended to my waist before stopping and settling back down into my lower legs and feet. I had MRI s of brain and spinal cord completed at the time. There was no evidence of lesions. MS specialist at the time said it was not MS, but was most likely a virus. Over time, the symptoms disappeared. Now, in July, I started experiencing numbness on right side of body, head to toes. Face and neck are numb, inside of mouth, eye feels funny. I had another MRI of brain completed. Results are uploaded. Is this MS? Is it the worst case scenario with it being in the brainstem?
