Is Nurofen Plus And Ibuprofen Right Medication For Swollen Glands In Neck Causing Difficulty Swallowing?

Hi, I have developed swollen glands on the right hand side of my neck, it hurts a lot to swallow, so other than forcing myself to drink plenty of fluids I am spitting out my saliva. I have I temp of around 102 taken on my child's forehead step thermometer, therefore not sure of its accuracy. Shakes for being cold, then sweating, headache and sensitive skin. It started 48 hours ago, been treating it with paracetamol and ibuprofen, and have just taken some nurofen plus. I have been eating but only porridge. Just want to check I am doing the right things. Thanks

Hello, Welcome Thanks for consulting HCM,
I have gone through your query , you have difficulty in swallowing , fever, headache , dont worry it can be throat infection you ,
Do Warm saline gargle 3-4 times in day ,
Take steam with Capsule Karvol twice daily
Take Medication for this One tablet Azithromycin 500 mg once in a day ,
One Tablet metronidazole twice daily
One Capsule vitamin B complex once daily
Take this medication for 3days
If you wont get relief then go to physician for consult ,
