Is Ovarian Drilling Recommended For Irregular Periods?

Hi.,I have irregular periods and married for 2yrs I never conceived pregnancy. I have been detected with pcos and have suggested for metfor and duphaston but never conceived . A doctor has suggested me for ovarian drilling. Should I proceed with it??

Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. For PCOD initially can be treated with metformin or combination of metformin with liraglutide injections. Losing of 10 % of body weight will help to restore a normal menstrual cycle and there by ovulation also. But if that is not working then ovarian drilling can be done by an experienced gynecologist. Normal ovulation can be restored by doing this.
