Is Ovulation Possible While Having Bilateral Ovarian Cysts?

Hi, I have a 10 month old and my cycle has yet to return b/c of breastfeeding. I recently had an ultrasound and bloodwork because of a dull pain on my left side. The findings of the ultrasound were a thickened uterus and bilateral ovarian cysts of normal size. They said I am most likely about to ovulate. My question is.... Is it possible to release an egg from each side or will ovulation only take place on one side? Also, is it normal to have bilateral cysts and not just the one that releases an egg? Thank you, Natalie

Release of egg will occur only from one ovary.
Both ovaries having follicles imply polycystic ovaries.
No need to worry.
Continue lactation.
