Is Pain After 6 Weeks Of Scaphoid Frature Normal?

just had cast removed for a scaphoid fracture after 6 weeks, still getting very sharp pains on movement (flexion, extension and L & R devation) and had pain on examination, doctor stated it should have healed by now and sent me home, should i go back for a second opinion?
