Is Pain After Urination Normal After A Hysterectomy?
I had a hysterectomy in august 2016. Since then I have had sharp pain after I empty my bladder. It is very sharp. It hits me in the butt too. I have complained to the doctor since the surgery. His fix is to put me on an antibiotic. He won t listen to me.

Hi,
Strong pain after urination suggests infection in the bladder. Not normal after years of hysterectomy. Unless infection is carried up in the bladder due to unhygienic or contact with infected person.
You would need antibiotics to clear the infection.
