Is Pain In Abdomen, Back And Legs Due To Minigynon?

What are the side effects of minigynon 30? I stated taking the pill and break for the 7 days. Now on the 6th day of my period i am having pains in my belly, back and legs on and off. Sometimes quite intense. Could this be because of me taking the pill. I am 44 yrs old.
