Is Pain In Eye And Ear After Getting Hit Cause For Concern?

Hi I banged my head earlier today it made me very dizzy and loose vision of my surroundings for about 5 seconds then it came back all blurry. Sight was fine after the 6 seconds but I have a constant pain in the back of my eye and a ear ache on the same side?

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.You have to get an urgent MRI of the brain, eyes and ears ( mastoids ) to rule out an internal injury as your history of head injury followed by pain in the back of eye and ear-ache.
Do not take anything orally at the moment , rush to ER and seek medical attention immediately.
It is possible that there is an internal injury or a hematoma that is compressing the optic nerve which may need urgent decompression.
