Is Pain In Lower Back With Inflammation Post Injury A Cause For Concern?

my son fell out of a chair and landed on his bottom pretty hard at a sporting event - he has pain in lower back toward the top of his right buttock - painful to touch and hurts to bend over and sit - he has been taken advil for inflammation - and alternating heat with ice - unsure if he should get it xrayed? this happened Friday afternoon -

Yes, he needs an evaluation and x-rays to make sure he doesn't have a lumbar vertebra or a pelvic fracture
