I have taken birth control since 20 yrs old I just stopped in March of this year because i had a two week long period where i had to wear a tampon or mini pad. I went to my dr and she said to stop the birth control and then after a month test blood. The test showed high level of 70 she said I was in menopause. I have not had a period since Feb. I had started to experience muscle aches but i exercise alot and thought it was due to that. AFter going off birth control it just got worse and worse. I have stopped all execercise and onky walk on treadmill each morning for 45 - 55 mins. I do take simvastin for high chloesterol. My arm muscles ache my legs ache my back aches. IS it menopause or my high chloesterol medicine??
