Is Pain In The Breast After Breast Reduction Surgery Normal?
I had breast reduction surgery 3 months ago. My right breast is very hard to the touch and painful when touched. I am very concern. Does it improve with time? My surgeon is telling me it takes one year for scar tissues to heal. At the same time he is telling me if it does not smooth out I need second surgery. I am frightened by his diagnosis. He believes if it does not improve , he has to take some more tissue from my right breast which makes it smaller than left breast and as a result he has to have operation on both breasts again. Do you think stiffness in my right breast might go away with time and not need the second surgery? by the way my left breast feels stiff only in one small area and not as bad as the right side at all. don't worry about second surgery.
usually scar tissue heals and remodels itself and come to normal after 6 months to one year.
after removing scar tissue breast size reduces.
if pain doesnot come down u have to undergo other surgery .
but mostly it comes to normal .
