Is Pain In The Feet Every Morning A Sign Of Plantar Fasciitis?

Hi I believe my husband has plantar fasciitis his feet hurt first thing in the morning but it goes away throughout the day and it comes back after he stands up after he been sitting for a long time and it also bothers him when he has been standing up for a long time. What can I do to help his feet feel better
