Is Pain In Thigh Due To Hematoma Normal?

I have a large hematoma on the inside of my upper thigh. I fell and bad bruising and lump. The pain keeps radiating from the lump and it has a been a week. I am flying to Texas on Tuesday and was wondering if this was normal or if I need to see my doctor
