Is Pain In Throat And Chest After A Fall A Cause For Concern?

My son blacked out this morning and when he went down he hit his Adams apple area on the arm of the sofa. He can breath fine, however his voice is raspy and his throat hurts all the way down to his upper chest area. Is this normal, will it take time for the pain to subside?

Hi, your son might have hurt his pharynx or epiglottis causing him throat pain, rapsy voice despite he is breathing fine.u immediately go to ENT specialist and get pharyngoscopy done.there would be a congestion near epiglottis which causes voice problem.antibiotics and decongestants would help.
