Is Pain & Soreness In My Arms Due To Sleeping On Side?

I am experiencing pain & soreness in my arms from the area between my elbows & shoulders. The sorness is NOT in the muscles, it is in the bone. It is difficult & uncomfortable to keep my arms extended out at shoulder height without the sorness & pain. Could it be from sleeping excessively on my sides and not rolling over at night?
