Is Painful Mid Back Post Injury An Indication Of Bruised Rib?

I SLIPPED AND FELL DOWN STEPS, BANGING THE INSIDE OF LEFT FOREARM, NICE CONTUSION AND CUT,HIT MY BACK ON THE STEP AND GOT THE WIND KNOCKED OUT OF ME. ONE WEEK LATER, MID-BACK ON RIGHT SIDE STILL BOTHERING ME WHEN SITTING, STANDING, DRIVING, HAVE BEEN TAKING ADVIL AND ALTERNATING ICE/HEAT HOW LONG WILL THIS GO ON? COULD I HAVE BRUISED A RIB?

While this might just be a rib bruise, you may actually have one or more fractured ribs so I'd suggest you get x-rays to look for that
