Is Painful Swelling On Shin Post Injury A Cause For Concern?

I work at the home depot, and recently hit the front of my shin on a steel flat cart several days ago. I dont have a bruise. There is sone visible swelling though. It has been getting more painful to walk or use my leg. It hurts really bad in the mornings. What could this be and how serious would you think it is?

Hello
This is likely just a bruised tibia and not a fracture since there was no external bruising.
That said, it would be a good idea to have a doctor take a look and you can use heat and ibuprofen in the meantime
