Is Parental Vitamins Required Even For A Abortion?

22 yo 3/4 weeks pregnant planning on having an abortion next week by pill. wondering if i should be taking prenatal vitamins for my health over the next week plus with recovery or if they would only be needed f i planned on going through with the pregnancy?

Thanks for the query.
Prenatal vitamins are prescribed for ensuring that brain defects do not occur in the baby. Taking them does not cause any harm to the mother as they are also useful for the normal metabolism of human body systems. If you take them there is no harm and it will be helpful if you ultimately decide to continue with the pregnancy. You can stop them after the abortion.
