Is Pen Ink Toxic?

Hi my daughter has been sucking on a pen for a few minutes and has a black tongue and teeth, these are now clean, but wonder how toxic ink is. there are no details on the pen, it was a cheap set my wife got with a note pad for 4 dollars. guessing it came from china...has my concern for the content.

dont be worried..
usually the ink of pen does not cause any sort of problem if ingested.
but see to it that it is not overdone...
if you see any abnormal behaviour or symptoms then visit a doctor
