Is Penile Bleeding After Insertion Of A Catheter A Matter Of Concern?

Tried to insert a catheter that came with a male chastity device without lubricant. After pulling it out there was a bit of blood. Is this something I should be worried about? I haven t seen any more blood since, but I also haven t attempted urinating.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

I think the bleeding came due to the damage of mucosal lining due to trauma. If it is stopped, it is not a matter of concern.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Olgeta Xhufka
