Hi,

Well, Buckteeth can be treated and teeth can be aligned with Orthodontic treatment or braces, however the exact condition of the jaw or the teeth has to be first evaluated first. If the Dentist told you that braces can be placed for aligning the teeth then you should go ahead with the treatment.

Also, if there is no space in the lower jay, then Yes few teeth needs to be removed (extracted) for bringing other teeth into alignment. I would also suggest you to always get the Orthodontic treatment done by a specialist or an orthodontist for better results.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
