Is Persistent Actinic Keratosis Behind The Neck A Matter Of Concern?
actinic keratosis? Have been biopsied and actinic keratosis was found. Letter from dermatologist says the treatment (scraping the lesion) is adequate, but if you suspect a problem call our office. It s on the back of my neck, so I can t seeit. It itches,and it has been slightly over two weeks and healing is not yet quite complete. Should I call him?

Generally, it will heal after scraping. If there are signs of infection you can consult a general surgeon and evaluated.
