Is Petechiae On The Leg Operated For Parapatellar Plica Normal?

I am a 28y/o WF 6 days post medial parapatellar plica excision (arthroscopic of course)- was recommended by my surgeon to begin weight-bearing starting today. I now have what appears to be petechiae all up and down the operative leg. Just curious if this is normal or is this a small sign I may have over weight-bear-ed ?

Hello,

Petechiae do not reveal over weight , but there may be relation with coagulation system of the body disturbing the blood clotting. Kindly share all details of current medications and if possible a photo picture of the rash and petechiae in follow up session for best discussion and management guidelines ahead.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
