Is Physiotherapy Recommended Despite Undergoing Acupuncture For Bell's Palsy?

hi, I have had Bell Palsy for a month now and I still don t see any improvement. I am taking Vit B supplements as well as acupuncture treatments. Some doctors recommend me to do physiotherapy. However, I heard that this method may be harmful to the face as the nerve is regenerating and reconnecting. What are the treatments available that I should go to?

Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

I have gone through your query and can understand..

As per your complain in case if you are suffering from Bells Palsy that is recovering then you should continue taking the medication and should also do Physiotherapy as it is not harmful and will help in improving muscle strength and also the nerve activity will improve and it is not harmful rather helpful in improving nerve activity..
The treatments that you should do are already that is advised to you and cntinue taking Vitamin B complex, do physiotherapy as demonstrated by your physician and also do warm compresses on face..

Hope this information helps..

Thanks and regards.
