Is Piercing Pain In Left Hand After Running Short Distance A Serious Problem?

I experience a piercing pain in my left hand after running for short duration, say for example to catch a bus. The pain subsides in 20-30 series, but i remain breathless for a couple of minutes. Three years ago I was found fit in a TMT test, but my BP is constantly 125/90.

Is it a serious problem?
