Is Plan B Pill Efffective 6 Hours After Sex?
My girlfriend has a period tracker app on her iphone and coincidentally, on this particular day of intercourse, she was apparently ovulating according to the app. Unfortunately, the condom broke fully and I went inside her. About six hours later, we got One Dose plan b. I'm concerned because of the fact she might have been ovulating at the time this incident occurred. I'm wondering if plan b is still just as effective as usual during ovulation.

Plan B pill is a progesterone containing pill used for posj coital emergency contraception. It can be taken upto 72 hours after intercourse. It is as effective upto 95% when taken within 12 hours after intercourse. Conception does not occur Immediately after intercourse. This pill prevents meeting of sperm with the ovum .
